We are already at Round 6, season 2012 is flying bye.

Round 5 done, now a distant memory, thank heavens, as sadly for us it was a very disappointing round with our four Panther teams all coming up short.  Looking at last week’s games:

  • For the seniors we must learn quickly to play out the 4 quarters, we held ascendancy again to half time and let it slip, this time a poor 3Q.
  • The story was similar for our 2nds who started exceptional well only to allow Uni Blues easy possession and paid the price.
  • The 3rds again battled hard but couldn’t sustain their influence at the contest.
  • Whilst the Unders were outplayed by a better drilled SKOB’s.

Turning our attention to this week we are back at home with all 4 teams playing at Bulleen in a gala day.

We are up against the VAFA’s 2011 A Grade Premiers, Collegians who have started 2012 in fine style and are undefeated.  They have depth and will be a huge challenge for all senior teams, whilst the Unders must find form quickly if they are to overcome Old Trinity.

The day promises to be a big one, we will be again putting on another home lunch in Cookie’s Kitchen and have guest speaker Dean Matthews of both Lion Nathan and VAFA fame attending.  Come game time we will be the call of the card on the airwaves as 96.5 INNER FM will be onsite, high up in the Gadsden Pavilion calling the seniors game.

So get all of your jobs done early this Saturday (26th May) and venture out to Carey Bulleen and cheer on our boys in 4 must win games.

See you there.

Go Panthers!
